UpQuest Ai LLC, a DBA of Percury Productions LLC ("UpQuest", "we", "our", or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using UpQuest, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
UpQuest requests read-only access to: steps, workout history, sleep, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, and VO₂ max. We do not read weight or body composition from Apple Health. Your Apple Health data is processed on your device to show your readiness and activity — it is not sent to our servers or to any third party. If you upload lab work, your bloodwork values are sent securely to our AI provider, xAI (Grok), to generate your Quest; Apple Health data is not included. We never sell health data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
Your account data and Quest plans are stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security — only you can access your own data.
Bloodwork and lab data: When you upload lab results, the file and the values we extract from it (including the report's text) are stored in encrypted cloud storage tied to your account, and are retained until you delete them. Your lab values and relevant health context are sent to our AI processor (xAI) to generate and explain your plan; xAI processes this data on our behalf as a service provider.
You can delete all of your stored data at any time by deleting your account. Your uploaded lab files are removed immediately and are not held in our database backups. Your records — lab values, profile, check-ins — are deleted immediately from the live database and age out of our provider's rolling backups within about seven days.
UpQuest uses the following third-party services:
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Account tab → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate in the live app; see Data Storage & Security above for how backups age out. This action is irreversible and will remove your profile, Quest plans, bloodwork files, and subscription records from our servers. Local app data will also be cleared.
When you delete your account we retain a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address and your free-trial dates, solely to prevent free-trial abuse; this cannot identify you or recover any of your data.
UpQuest is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
UpQuest provides general health and wellness information for educational and informational purposes only. The AI-generated plans, supplement recommendations, and health insights are NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet, exercise routine, or supplement protocol — especially if you have a medical condition or are taking medications.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via push notification or in-app notice. Continued use of UpQuest after changes constitutes acceptance.
